Head Coach - Varsity
Years with Upper St. Clair Ice Hockey: 4th year as head coach, 7 years total
Hometown: Baldwin, PA
Hockey Experience: Coach Stock is very familiar with the hockey scene in the south hills of Pittsburgh. Growing up playing for Mon Valley, Mt Lebanon Hornets and Baldwin High School, Dave completed his playing days for various Penn State club hockey teams, earning ACHA CHE All-Star honors in 2005.
His coaching credentials have stops with South Park High School (Varsity), Peters Township (Varsity & JV), Pittsburgh Predators and presently coaching my son's SHAHA team (8U).
Philosophy on the Game: "What drove me into coaching is my unconditional love of this sport and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those coming after me. I owe so much to who I am to this sport. I think back to the coaches that shaped me so it means a lot to me to give back to the hockey community and have that same positive impact.
I prioritize getting to know my players as human beings and believe the fastest way to get the most out of a team is to create an inclusive environment where they are comfortable and know their coaches care about them and their goals."

Growing up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Corey played ice hockey for SHAHA and Bethel Park High School before moving to a sport court and representing Penn State roller hockey from 2006-2008.
Philosophy on the Game: Develop players to not only be skilled but hardworking and intelligent on the ice. Skills can only take you so far. When it comes to team culture, feedback is a two way street. Building that trust is critical for team success.

Philosophy on the Game: Create time and space on offense and take it away on defense. Players should be able to look their teammates in the eyes, knowing they've done everything legally possible to win, including blocking shots, taking hits to make plays, and winning loose pucks.
